The manuscript represents a fragmentary copy of the Aachen encyclopedia (Lib. comp.). It must have been a luxury copy made perhaps for a member of the royal family (
(Vol. I, pp. 248-249) suggested that the exemplar came from Aachen). The Excerptum de astrologia and the star catalogue De ordine ac positione, open the fifth book of the encyclopedia.Support:
