Parchment — Mondsee (?) — about 800

The manuscript is probably a product of the Mondsee scriptorium, brought to Cologne thanks to Hildebald who was Archbishop of Cologne and Abbot of Mondsee (Bischoff 1980, 34: "Sehr wahrscheinlich ist durch diesen [Hildebald] ein zweites Mondseer Homiliar (Köln, Dombibl. 172) nach Köln gekommen", "Es ist einzunehmen, daß die Hs. in Mondsee hergestellt wurde und durch Erzbischof Hildebald in die Dombibliothek gelangte (vor 819)"; Arweiler 1998). It contains a collection of homilies on the epistles for the Sundays and festivals of the Ecclesiastical Year from Christmas to Feast of the Ascension.
